With the well-established relationship with the NHS hospitals, Sinolink is now delighted to announce that we have developed a series of online training programmes with our partners to suit this special era as well as to benefit more healthcare practitioners worldwide.

Online Programme Details

The Online Training Programmes are designed by the NHS hospitals to suit the current situation when the international travel is limited, and hopefully would benefit more healthcare practitioners worldwide in a longer-term, to not only learn from the latest knowledge in Europe but also build up a global community for the future development. 

We currently have three online programmes open to application, which are designed by different hospitals and for different specialists, the details are followed. Programme 1 Nursing Leadership Programme 

 

The course is delivered by a leadership team that exists to spearhead the development of Nursing and Midwifery. The hosting institute is one of the most well-known nursing academies in the UK. Participants will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by the institute and the NHS Foundation Trust on completion of the course. We believe that this course is the perfect springboard for an individual to complete in advance of taking an observership with us in London. 


Length:

5 x 90mins sessions (across a 5 week period) 
Audience:

Nurses looking to move into a leadership role within any speciality

Requirements:

Access to zoom for sessions to be delivered

English listening and understanding
Overall Aims and Objectives:

To build up clinical leaders’ capabilities in health promotion and illness management, care delivery in Chinese service priorities.
 

Modules: 
Leadership in the UK:

  • Leading with care – different types of leadership styles and how to utilise these to get the best out of teams

Nurse-led services:

  • Where nurses are leading in clinical care and impact 

Patient experience and involvement:

  • the value of working with others to improve care for patients

Safeguarding:

  • Looking after the most vulnerable of our patients

Quality improvement:

  • How to engage the team and work together to deliver a project to improve care for patients

 

Programme 2 Breast Oncology Preceptorship

 

The course is delivered by breast oncologists from one of the best NHS Foundation Trusts in London. Participants will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by the hosting NHS Foundation Trust on completion of the course. We believe that this course is the perfect springboard for an individual to complete in advance of taking an observership with us in London. 

 

Length:

5 x 120 mins sessions (in total across 5 weekdays period) 
Audience:

Breast Oncology clinicians, doctors, nurses, and department managers

Requirements:

Access to zoom for sessions to be delivered

English listening and understanding
 

The programme covers the topics as followed:

  • Intro to breast cancer and epidemiology

  • Breast pathology, radiology, surgery, RT, MDT

  • Early breast cancer systemic therapy

  • Metastatic breast cancer systemic therapy

  • Breast cancer immunotherapy

  • Diagnosing and staging cancers in the pathology laboratory 

  • A patient’s perspective (breast patient)

  • Drugs Funding and commissioning 

  • CNS role

  • Clinical trials 

 

Programme 3 Other Specialists Virtual Lectures (more information coming soon)

  • Organisation Health Management

  • Paediatric Food Allergy

4 x 150 mins sessions (in total across 4 weekdays period) 
Audience:

Interested clinicians, doctors, nurses, and department managers

Requirements:

Access to zoom for sessions to be delivered

English listening and understanding

 

General Details

The language of all online training courses will be English.
Sinolink is able to provide an interpreting service at an additional charge should this be required.
Training will be held via the platform 'Zoom'; a strong internet connection will be required.
